I have had many buyers ask,"should I take my home off the market durning the holidays" My answer is if you want to sell your home than leave it on!!!  Here's my opinion why.  First of all,many families have company from out of town-old friends,family etc.  They just may fall in love with your area and want to look around for either a second home or a life changing move.

Over the holidays your home is usually at it's best-the smell of an evergreen tree,scented pine cones,cheerful music,and even the smell of warm sugar cookies. People are in the buying mood!

Over the years I have found to be really busy around the holidays-In Bozeman Montana,folks come in for skiing,hunting,Yellowstone National Park winter tours,etc.  It's a gerat time to sell!

Get your family on board to keep the house ready to show at any time-really what's wrong with having a beautiful clean home anyway,right?

If you do get a contract,then you can arrange the terms that will suite your needs. Thirty,sixty days... whatever works. 

Again,if you want to show your house to many qualified buyers and potentially sell your home then by all means,Leave it on the market!!!
